Rus sair Marina Ivanovna Tsvetayeva'nin dogum yildonumu (8 Ekim 1892)
https://www.poemhunter.com/i/poem_im...n-so-early.jpg
Hayatimda oyle erken, oyle erken yazildi ki siirlerim
Kendimin henuz bir sair oldugunu bilmiyordum daha.
Pinarin damlaciklari misali cebren ayrilirlar benden,
Bir roketin devinmesine benzer gene de.
Ansizin saldirir siirler benden, isgal eder, uykunun ve tutsunun
Sarmaladigi tapinaktaki bazi minicik iblisler misali.
Genclik ve olumdur ele aldigi konular. Siirlerim,
Her daim okunmadan kalan dizelerim!

Ingiliz cocuk kitaplari yazari Kenneth Grahame, Sogutlerdeki Ruzgar (The Wind in the Willows) kitabini 8 Ekim 1908 tarihide yayinladi.
Onu cevreleyen her yerde...

"The Mole had been working very hard all the morning, spring-cleaning his little home. First with brooms, then with dusters; then on ladders and steps and chairs, with a brush and a pail of whitewash; till he had dust in his throat and eyes, and splashes of whitewash all over his black fur, and an aching back and weary arms. Spring was moving in the air above and in the earth below and around him, penetrating even his dark and lowly little house with its spirit of divine discontent and longing. It was small wonder, then, that he suddenly flung down his brush on the floor, said, "Bother!" and "O blow!" and also "Hang spring-cleaning!" and bolted out of the house without even waiting to put on his coat. Something up above was calling him imperiously, and he made for the steep little tunnel which answered in his case to the gravelled carriage-drive owned by animals whose residences are nearer to the sun and air."

Amerikali bilim kurgu roman yazari Frank Patrick Herbert'in (Franklin Patrick Herbert, Jr.) dogum yildonumu (8 Ekim 1920)
"Cogu medeniyet korkaklik uzerine kurulmustur. Korkak olmayi ogreterek medenilestirmek epey kolaydir. Cesaret sinirlarini dusurursun, istekleri sinirlarsin, istahlari denetim altina alirsin. Ufkun etrafini ciftle cevirirsin. Her faaliyet icin bir kanun yaparsin. Kaosun varligini inkar edersin. Cocuklara bile yavas yavas nefes almalarini ogretirsin. Evcillestirirsin."

"Most civilisation is based on cowardice. It's so easy to civilize by teaching cowardice. You water down the standards which would lead to bravery. You restrain the will. You regulate the appetites. You fence in the horizons. You make a law for every movement. You deny the existence of chaos. You teach even the children to breathe slowly. You tame."
"Din ile siyaset ayni arabada gittiginde, suruculer karsilarinda hicbir seyin duramayacagini sanir. Dumduz gider, hizlandikca hizlanirlar. Engelleri tamamen goz ardi eder, korlemesine gidenlerin ucurumu cok gec farkedecegini unuturlar."

"When religion and politics travel in the same cart, the riders believe nothing can stand in their way. Their movements become headlong - faster and faster and faster. They put aside all thoughts of obstacles and forget the precipice does not show itself to the man in a blind rush until it's too late."

Avusturyali cocuk kitaplari yazari Felix Salten'in olum yildonumu (8 Ekim 1945)
"Bambi ormanin kuytu bir kuytu bir kosesinde dunyaya geldi. Burasi, ancak annesine ve kendisine yetecek buyuklukteydi. Bugulu gozlerle etrafina bakindi. Henuz cevresindekileri net goremiyordu.
Ah! Yeni dogmus bir yavrunun hemen ayaga kalkabilmesi gercekten cok ilginc. Aferin sana minik karaca! Aferin sana minik karaca!"
https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon....1816gRUnLL.jpg
"Bambi came into the world in the middle of the thicket, in one of those little, hidden forest glades which seem to be entirely open but are really screened in on all sides. There was very little room in it, scarcely enough for him and his mother. He stood there, swaying unsteadily on his thin legs and staring vaguely in front of him with clouded eyes which saw nothing. He hung his head, trembled a great deal, and was still completely stunned.
The magpie perched on a neighboring branch.
"What a beautiful child,"cried the magpie. "What a beautiful child, How amazing to think that he should be able to get right up and walk! How interesting! I've never seen the like of it before in all my born days."
