sulle pesche vellutate.
Proprio qui, su questa piazza

Il boia accese la fiamma
fra la marmaglia curiosa.
E non appena spenta la fiamma,
ecco di nuovo piene le taverne.
Ceste di olive e limoni
sulle teste dei venditori...
