Aslina bakarsaniz baslarken uygun bir dil kullanmak amaciyla iki beyefendi deyip gectik. Ancak dikkatle incelendiginde biri, dogrusunu soylemek gerekirse pek de beyefendi tanimina uymuyordu. Kaba, bayagi yuz cizgileri ve daha iyi bir yer kapmak icin cevresindekileri dirsekleyerek yukselmeye calisan dusuk duzeyli birinin tipik gostergesi olan o kasinti tavriyla kisa boylu, tiknaz bir adamdi. Bir suru cig rengin alacasindan olusmus yelegi, neseyle sallanan sari benekli mavi atkisi ve genel havasina pek uyan cafcafli bir boyunbagiyla asiri derecede suslu pusluydu."
