Bridge: Turkey wins gold in European Open Pairs

Nezih Kubaç and Nafiz Zorlu from Turkey won the gold medal in the open pairs at the Europen Open Championships in Italy. They were in the lead most of the time, often with over 59%, and finished on a very healthy 58,33%. Zia Mahmood and Jeff Meckstroth, USA won the silver (56,59%) and Alfredo Versace - Mustafa Cem Tokay (Italy/Turkey) claimed thebronze medal with 56,37%.


This concluded the 8th European Open Championships.
