“Utopyalilar akli basinda insanlarin, yildizlar ve gunes dururken, bir incinin ya da bir elmasin ciliz pariltisina duskunluklerine sasarlar. Bir koyunun sirtinda tasidigi yunun en incesinden yapilmis giysiler giyiyor diye bir insanin daha soylu, daha degerli olacagini sanmasi deliliktir onlar icin. Kendiliginden hic de yararli olmayan altina neden bu kadar deger verildigini, insanin diledigi gibi kullandigi bir nesnenin nasil insandan ustun sayilabilecegini anlamiyorlardi. Bir de suna sasiyorlardi: Nasil oluyor da bir esek kadar bile kafasi islemeyen vicdansiz, ahlaksiz, budala zenginin biri, sadece birkac torba altini var diye, akilli durust bir suru insani buyrugu altinda kole gibi kullanabiliyordu. Talih degisebilirdi ve yasa ince birtakim oyunlarla bu adamin elinden altinlarini alip usaklarinin en asagiligina verebilirdi. Demek o zaman bu zengin hic SIKILMADAN eski usaginin ve eski parasinin hizmetinde calisacakti.”

And that, should an accident, or a law-quirk (which sometimes produceth as great changes as chance herself), pass this wealth from the master to his meanest slave, he would soon become the servant of the other, as if he was an appendage of his wealth, and bound to follow it.”
