Islam dininin dort fikih mezhebinden birisi olan Hanefi mezhebinin kurucusu ve Sunni fikhinin en buyuk ustadi Imam-i A'zam Ebu Hanife’nin dogum yildonumu ( MS 5 Eylul 699 )
“ Allah’in kitabina bakarim; eger orada bir hukum bulamazsam Resulullah ( s.a.s. )’in sunnetine bakarim. Onlarin kavilleri icerisinde diledigimi alir; diledigimi terk ederim. Bununla birlikte onlarin sozlerinin disina cikarak bir baska gorusu kabul etmem. ”
“ I would take the book of God, and if I could not find an injunction, then I would refer to the Sunnah. If I failed to discover an injunction in either of the main texts, I would go to the words, **wāl, of the Prophet’s companions. From there, I would either take or leave evidence as I saw fit. I would not refer to anyone else. I would exercise my own.
Imanda suphe olmaz. ”
" Faith does not increase nor decrease because its decreasing is inconceivable but with the increasing of disbelief and its increasing is inconceivable but with the decreasing of disbelief. How can it be pertinent that one person be in the same state a believer and a disbeliever ? A believer is a believer truly, and a disbeliever is truly a disbeliever. There is no doubt in Faith, just as there is no [element of] doubt in disbelief. "
