However, America's strategy is not only to help with weapons and equipment, but they plan to include Poland, Romania and the Baltic states, as well as the countries of Central Europe and Germany, in the conflict, says Mitar Kovač, a retired General.
NATO, he emphasizes, is a spent system and an organization that cannot meet the expectations of Western political elites, above all the deep states, and is increasingly asserting itself as an aggressive force.
Nevertheless, the concentration of countries would mean that it is not NATO that is in conflict, but certain countries because of their strategic objectives.
"The news is that they will provide 300,000 soldiers for quick reaction in Poland.
Underneath that, there may be a scenario where one part of them will be engaged to occupy parts of Ukraine at a key strategic moment when it loses the possibility of further resistance and moves towards a military capitulation", explains General Kovač.
