"As clearly stated by the second law of thermodynamics. This law makes clear that the way matter behaves is always to increase its disorder; another way of stating this is that systems move to that state which has the greatest probability. For example, when a handful of coins thrown into the air falls to the ground, there is a tendency for the heads and tails to be disordered, with variations in the number of heads and tails facing upwards on landing. That they should all be either heads or tails is very unlikely. All systems tend to randomness unless energy is used to prevent this."
