Esan produces 135,000 tons of
zinc and lead concentrates and 400 kg of
gold ingots. In 2020, we began producing
copper concentrate as well. Our lead and
zinc mine in Balya, Turkey, processes 1.5
million tons of ore annually and produces
135 thousand tons of concentrate. In 2021,
the Balya Pb-Zn Mine alone supplied 52
percent of Turkey’s lead exports and 9
percent of its zinc exports, positioning us at
the forefront of Turkey’s lead exports and
among its principal exporters of zinc.
